Crown Royal Quilt

  1. Hi, My comment is actually a question or questions. I have been saving bags and am finally ready to make a CR quilt. I cannot tell from the picture but is the back of yours made from pieces of the bags or is it a solid piece? Did you buy gold cording for the trim? My son wants a "Crown Royal" quilt and I like this one better than almost all I have seen on the internet.

Any tips you could provide would really be appreciated.

    My e-mail is ccleland@csuchico.edu.

    Thank you,

    Cindy

  2. I just looked closer and I think I see how you cut the border. On the outer squares, did you include the side and then leave a seam allowance to attach to the back. If that is what you did, you were amazing at how you lined up your squares so perfectly to make it look like a continuous piece.

  4. I am in the process of cutting out squares for this pattern. My question is how you got the rope sewed in on the outer edge of the sashing?
